S. Moyo came from Zimbabwe to the UK and began work as a care assistant whilst studying. After this she applied for asylum and was stopped from working for 6 years and resulted in her having no work experience which made it very difficult for her to gain employment.

She had been seeking employment for a full year before she came to PATH. The Hamara Centre provided information to her about PATH and she came to find out more. She gained one-to-one support via PATH’s NCFE Employability Programme and also gained a voluntary position via PATH vacancies which provided her with more up to date work experience and a reference that she can use in future applications. She gained employment after.

“I would recommend PATH to anyone I know”
