PATH Yorkshire is a training provider of accredited and non-accredited courses supporting adult learners to gain employment or progress into sustainable employment. Established for 38 years, we worked with diverse communities and businesses across the Yorkshire and Humber region.

We are looking to appoint qualified and experienced Tutors to deliver accredited pre-employment skills course for learners aged 19+ in the Calderdale areas. Learners may be unemployed, on low pay or irregular job and seeking for better employment opportunities.

DIGITAL CHAMPIONS (Volunteers)

Digital Champions help and support people to learn the basic use of digital equipment, apps, internet, online banking, and entertainment. They help make people become socially connected through the social media platforms. And they actively support Leeds Digital Inclusion initiatives.

ESOL Tutors

(for Leeds, Wakefield, Calderdale, Kirklees, Bradford) 

We are looking to appoint qualified and experienced English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) TUTORS to deliver non-accredited ESOL courses for:

• Adult Learners – ages 19 and above

• Young Migrants – ages 17 to 21

Classes will be In-person in the areas of:

  1. Leeds
  2. Wakefield
  3. Calderdale
  4. Kirklees
  5. Bradford

Majority of learners will be on Entry 1, 2, 3 levels, with few on Level 1, 2.

ESOL Modules to teach:

  • Social Conversation
  • Health and Wellbeing
  • English for Job Applications
  • English at Work
  • ESOL for living and working in UK (for Young Migrants)

Term-time contract, Ongoing

We have Schemes of Learning and Resources ready for adapting to your learner groups’ needs.

Preferably, Tutors to be appointed will be local to the area. Though we will consider applicants from areas other than listed above if they are able to travel to the designated areas/venues.

The Building Operations and Facilities Assistant Manager is a role that helps to bring together our Security, Maintenance, Housekeeping and Facilities departments together as one team. The role is responsible to the Building Operations and Facilities Manager and will work across all three of our buildings.

Strong and consistent leadership is a key part of this role, ensuring that all staff feel supported, respected, and valued. You will assist in managing a variety of planned and reactive maintenance programmes and contribute to the safety and well-being of all staff and visitors by ensuring the safe and working operation of all the building’s fabric and plant in the Leeds Playhouse buildings.

Head of Business Development

Full time, Permanent

£36,000 – £40,000 per year. 

The Head of Business Development is a new, senior post and will report directly to the Executive
Director. The creation of this post recognises the increased importance of maximising the
profitability of the theatre’s various commercial operations, predominantly our bars, restaurant,
conferencing / hires, merchandise, programmes and ice creams, which provide secondary income
alongside ticket sales.

Faculty Business Administrator (Maternity Cover)

Hours of Work:            Full-time (1.0fte)

Duration:                     Maternity cover

Salary:                         The starting salary will be from £25,138 up to £29,605 per annum in Grade 5, depending on qualifications and experience.

The University has invested in a new faculty business office structure to deliver professional and responsive operational and administrative support to its three faculties as they prepare for growth. The Faculty Business Office works alongside all faculties and professional services colleagues to deliver a consistent, efficient, and flexible service that drives a culture of partnership to deliver excellent student experience.

In this role you will work alongside one of the Faculty Business Managers to provide faculties with agile and focussed support, which will include responding to evolving operational priorities and servicing key meetings.

You will have previous experience of customer service delivery to a range of stakeholders as well as administrative experience gained within an office environment.  You will be experienced in complex diary management, have the ability to arrange, service and take accurate notes of meetings and be proficient in the use of IT systems (MS Office). We are looking to appoint customer and solution focused, reliable, trustworthy individuals, who can work effectively both independently and as part of a team, ensuring high levels of accuracy and attention to detail at all times.

This role will be located at Leeds Trinity University campus in Horsforth, Leeds.  Through our agile working framework, there may also be the option to spend some time working remotely to support work life balance, which will be discussed further with candidates at interview.
