I have had a remarkable 12 months as a PATH trainee. Although I previously required a degree in Electronics, I always felt this was not the area of work I wanted to pursue. After a brief period of illness, I decided I would like to focus in another area of work. PATH enabled me the opportunity to develop and apply new skills.
I feel I have exceeded my personal expectations and as my placement was at The Leeds Racial Harassment Project, I have developed a holistic knowledge on various legislation around Racial Harassment whilst pursuing a Counselling Course in addition to other supplementary courses.
I now feel equipped, empowered to pursue further education whilst working part-time.
