Are you new to Leeds/UK? 

The Connecting Opportunities project is for new migrants (those who have just arrived in UK or have lived in UK for less than 10 years) living in Leeds looking for work and to improve their English language skills. You must also be with permission to work in UK but not in a paid work at present.

Free services for Connecting Opportunities participants:

  • Work Experience
  • English classes for life and work in the UK
  • Learn about the British culture
  • Help with your English exams including B1
  • Training opportunities
  • Wellbeing group activities
  • Information on local services and job vacancies.
  • Workshops to improve your CV, job application and interview skills.

PATH Yorkshire provides one-to-one practical help and support, free English classes and wellbeing group activities to unemployed new migrants aged 22 years old and above, with permission to work and lives in Leeds.

The Connecting Opportunities Project is not a public fund and will not affect any benefits you received.
