ESOL Tutors 

Competitive Pay, Freelance

Part-time, hours to be agreed / For January – July 2026

We are seeking for additional Freelance ESOL TUTORS to join our busy and dynamic learning team. Classes will Monday – Friday, in-person at PATH Yorkshire Building, 29 Harrogate Road, Chapel Allerton, Leeds LS7 3PD. Learners will be aged 19 yrs and over.

Tutors will teach one of more of the following short courses:

  • ESOL for Job Seeking
  • ESOL for Job Application
  • ESOL at Work
  • ESOL for Social Conversation
  • Sector-specific English for ESOL Learners

Curriculum and learning resources are available for our ESOL courses.

PATH Internship Opportunity:

Trainee Youth Justice Worker 

£17,500 per annum, pro rata

35 hours per week, Monday to Friday

The PATH Internship is a Positive Action Training Project of PATH Yorkshire, which uses positive action under the Equality Act 2010 to address under-representation and disadvantage in the labour market. The programme is designed to support people aged 18 and over from ethnically diverse communities and is therefore open to applications from minority ethnic backgrounds.

About the Placement Organisation
Leeds Youth Justice Service (LYJS) work with children and aged 10 to 17 years who have offended and help prevent them getting into further trouble. LYJS work with a variety of organisations, parents and carers to:

• Support children and prevent them from offending
• Reduce the risk of further offending by children and help them face up to the consequences
• Work with and support victims of youth crime
• Support children who are bailed by the courts, during sentence and on release
• Supervise children on court orders
• Assist with arrangements for a chid remanded to Local Authority care by the courts
• Assist parents through voluntary support

Purpose of Traineeship
Working with children and their families to reduce their risk of offending or re-offending, in accordance with relevant legislation, National Standards for Youth Justice and the Youth Justice Plan for Leeds.

Volunteer ENGLISH (ESOL) Teachers

Help teach Leeds diverse communities of migrants, refugees, and asylum seekers. You will deliver or facilitate ENGLISH CONVERSATION Weekly Sessions of 2 hours (Monday – Friday between 10 am and 4pm) in-person at PATH Yorkshire, 29 Harrogate Road, Chapel Allerton, Leeds LS7 3PD.

This role is perfect if you are:

  • Currently studying to be an English/ESOL Teacher and need experience
