The Better Futures Programme

Addressing racial inequality in the labour market.

About the Better Futures Programme

The Better Futures Programme is a paid work placement scheme for African, Caribbean, Asian and other Ethnic Minority communities individuals, aged 19 years and above, who are facing barriers in gaining sustainable employment.

For 36 years, PATH Yorkshire has worked with employers and organisations in tackling the under-representation of African, Caribbean, Asian and other Ethnic Minority communities in their workforce.

Work placements are between 6 and 12 months in a specific role within a certain sector or industry. A training course complements your work placement experience.
