About Us

PATH Yorkshire was established as a Positive Action Training organisation in August 1985 to address the under-representation of Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities in Yorkshire through education, training, and employment opportunities.

Our projects and programmes are centred on the individual person’s support need to gain sustainable employment.

For 40 years, we have collaborated with employers in the public, private, and voluntary sectors to address the under-representation of ethnic minority groups in their workforce, through the development of paid work placements.

Our Collaborations with Employers

We organised Recruitment and Opportunities Events in behalf of employers, promoting them to communities and successfully increasing the applications from minority groups. Collaborations with NHS, Leeds City Council,Yorkshire Ambulance Service.

In collaboration with employers, wedevelop paid work placements providing entry level opportunities for under-represented groups in their workforce. We advertised the opportunities, source applications, and support employers throughout the selection process.

On behalf of EDI employer/organisation partners, we advertise specific job vacancies and career opportunities to our community networks or to particular minority groups according to the employers needs. Contact: info@pathyorkshire.co.uk

We organised group visits and employers talk for job seekers from diverse backgrounds to introduce them to the opportunities with specific employers. Collaborated with BBC, The Marriot Hotel, Opera North, Starbucks, Ikea, and recently with Burberry.
