Identifying your SKILLS – Wednesday 13th October 10am – 11am

In this workshop, we will help you to identify your current skills by thinking about your current situation, what job or experiences have you had and what skills did they include.

How to write a CV – Wednesday 27th October 10am – 11am

Check our CV advice on what to include and how to make it stand out. This workshop will guide you to create a CV and Cover Letter that gets you through to the interview stage.

Ways to get WORK EXPERIENCE – Wednesday 10th November 10am – 11am

A workshop that explores different ways to gain work experience. Work experience can be used to show employers what you can do. It can be described as time spent in a workplace learning about a job role, a company, or a career sector.

How to find JOB VACANCIES – Wednesday 24th November 10am – 11am

Find out where to look for vacancies from recruitment agencies to social media sites. There are lots of ways to look for a new job. We look at some of them in this workshop.

How to fill in an APPLICATION FORM – Wednesday 8th December 10am – 11am

This workshop will give you guidance on how to complete paper and online application forms. An employer may ask you to fill in an application form instead of sending a CV.

INTERVIEW advice – Wednesday 15th December 10am – 11am

Find out about the different types of interviews and how to do well in them. Learn how to answer interview questions confidently and make a good impression.
