PATH Yorkshire continues to help and support clients during the coronavirus crisis. Since 18th March 2020 until June 2020, our office remains to be closed but PATH staff continues to work with clients by telephone, email, Skype and Zoom.
Now, PATH’s dedicated staff are running weekly online ESOL (English) classes for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced levels. We currently have places for migrants aged 22 years old and above living in Leeds to join the free English classes. Click here for more details and how to join.
During the coronavirus lockdown, all of our clients needed help on how to use Zoom and Skype to be able to continue their learning online. Our committed Keyworkers and Project Officers arranged one-to-one tutorial in developing their digital skills.
Another problem some clients had was being able to buy or borrow an appropriate digital equipment (tablet, laptop or personal computer) to be able to continue their learning online. Through the Connecting Opportunities project, tablets were purchased for use by clients to continue learning their English lessons online, attend employability online workshops, job search and applications.
PATH Yorkshire is a partner organisation of the Connecting Opportunities project, funded by The European Social Fund and The National Lottery Community Fund.
